Efficiency, Innovation, Sustainability: profine at Fensterbau Frontale 2026
With a stand designed in the look and feel of its lead brand Kömmerling, profine Group will once again be represented at Fensterbau Frontale 2026 as the world’s leading trade fair’s largest exhibitor. Under the motto “From the Spring to the Horizon”, the systems supplier will present itself from March 24 to 27 on a 1,500-square-meter stand in hall 7, stand 555, at the Nuremberg exhibition center.
The brand presence once again follows the clear, modern design language of Kömmerling and places the company’s system expertise in efficiency, sustainability and innovation at the forefront.
Fit For Future – Efficiency and Market Success
A key focus of the trade fair appearance is the “Fit For Future” campaign. With this initiative, Kömmerling supports its partners with concrete product solutions that combine efficiency, sustainability and economic viability. The program bundles practical system solutions designed to simplify manufacturing, reduce material usage and complexity, and deliver tangible competitive advantages – ranging from intelligent accessories to a new generation of window and door systems.
Current examples of “Fit For Future” include:
- A new semi-flush sash in the System 76 centre seal, which, in combination with a specially developed glazing bead, allows the use of glazing up to 56 millimetres in fixed glazing applications.
- With the PremiStep 20 threshold system, Kömmerling expands its threshold portfolio for barrier-free transitions. The well-engineered insert threshold enables fast fabrication and requires no additional installation effort on site.
- The sliding system PremiSlide 76 Beyond, which offers even more efficient and economical production as well as significantly simplified hardware installation.
The program also includes the Smart Home solutions from Kömmerling, already successfully established in the market, in cooperation with Delta Dore.
Additional new “Fit For Future” system solutions will be presented for the first time at Fensterbau Frontale 2026.
Kömmerling WarmCore Hybrid System
Another key element of the exhibition is the further developed Kömmerling WarmCore hybrid system, available in installation depths of 70 and 76 millimetres. The combination of a PVC core with aluminium profiles provides excellent energy efficiency, high structural stability and broad design freedom. The system covers a wide range of applications – from windows and doors to sliding doors through to folding sliding elements – and also impresses in terms of sustainability: the PVC core contains up to 50 percent recycled material, while the aluminium components consist of at least 90 percent recycled content.
Service Module: Prefabrication
Another exhibition highlight is Kömmerling’s prefabrication service. Prefabricated solutions are becoming increasingly important in the window industry. As a systems supplier, Kömmerling provides project-specific, packaged and installation-ready components – ranging from shutter systems and coated aluminium covers to threshold solutions. This also includes prefabricated sets with KömaTherm, a pressure-resistant substructure profile made of KömaCel and polystyrene.
Focus on Sustainable Profiles
Kömmerling underlines its sustainable product strategy with a broad range of recycling options. These include the ReFrame series with profile bodies made entirely from recycled PVC, profiles with a recycling content of at least 55 percent that meet current requirements of various German municipalities, and MultiCore reinforcements made from 100 percent recycled PVC.
In addition, the systems supplier presents profiles made from bio-attributed PVC, in which renewable raw materials such as tall-oil-based ethylene replace fossil resources.
Complete Kömmerling Product Portfolio
Visitors to the stand can also expect the full Kömmerling system portfolio – from established standard solutions to international variants.
This includes tilt-and-turn systems with installation depths of 70, 76 and 88 millimetres in various configurations, as well as international system variants from 58 millimetres, tailored to regional market requirements.
The portfolio is further complemented by sliding and lift-and-slide systems, shutter solutions, a wide range of special systems and an extensive PVC sheet program for versatile interior and exterior applications.
For maximum design flexibility, Kömmerling offers a comprehensive range of colours and surfaces, including decorative foils, proCoverTec surface finishing, the PMMA surface AcrylColor and aluminium claddings.
Kömmerling PrintFlow®: 3D Printing with Patented PVC
With Kömmerling PrintFlow®, the systems supplier presents an innovative PVC filament for 3D printing at the trade fair. The patented PVC material has been specially developed for FDM/FFF printers and enables precise, flexible applications in white PVC. Weather-resistant, durable and recyclable, Kömmerling PrintFlow® opens up new possibilities for prototypes, customized parts and economically produced small series.
Sustainability Award for Window Manufacturers
With the newly established Kömmerling Tomorrow Award 2026, the systems supplier will for the first time honour customers who actively advance sustainable approaches. The award ceremony will take place as part of an event on the exhibition stand. The international award is presented in the categories “Sustainable Products and Processes” and “Social Commitment” and is evaluated by a jury of recognized experts.
