Kömmerling PrintFlow®: 3D Printing with Patented PVC
With Kömmerling PrintFlow®, profine Group underlines its materials expertise, which extends far beyond the development and production of profile systems. In addition to traditional applications, innovative technologies are increasingly coming into focus — including additive manufacturing.
At Fensterbau Frontale 2026, the systems supplier presented Kömmerling PrintFlow®, a PVC filament for 3D printing designed for both industrial and private applications. The patented material was specifically developed for FDM/FFF 3D printers and enables precise and reproducible applications in white PVC — currently a unique feature on the market.

Innovative PVC Filament
With Kömmerling PrintFlow®, Kömmerling is opening up new possibilities in additive manufacturing. The high-quality filament enables flexible, fast, and precise 3D printing in outstanding quality — and in white PVC. This combination is currently unique on the market and offers users a clear technological advantage. Additional colors such as black anthracite and grey are currently under development.
Kömmerling PrintFlow® was developed specifically for FDM/FFF 3D printers. It consists of a patented PVC that has been optimized for 3D printing and supports reliable results in the printing process. At the same time, the filament impresses with its material properties: it is weather-resistant and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors. In addition, Kömmerling PrintFlow® is durable and resistant to moisture, UV radiation, and abrasion.
Wide Range of Applications
Kömmerling PrintFlow® is also a technical filament that is particularly suitable for series production due to its consistent quality. Users benefit from consistently high quality —especially in terms of material composition, color, and function.
These properties make the filament suitable for numerous applications — for example, in construction, electronics, healthcare, packaging, transportation, and in various private uses.
Another advantage is its recyclability: Kömmerling PrintFlow® can be recycled using suitable processes, thereby supporting more resource-efficient use of materials.
“Whether for small series, individual products, or design prototypes: With Kömmerling PrintFlow®, ideas can be quickly realized, tested, and adapted. The result is high flexibility in development and economical and sustainable production,” explains Frank Helbing, Head of Design & Development/CAx PLM and Digitalization Officer at profine GmbH.
