On October 4th, 2021, profine GmbH officially put its new training workshop in Berlin into operation. With the new machines, it is now possible to cover various training phases internally, such as basic metal technology training. Up until now, the company had to work with external partners for this purpose.
Every year between 50 and 60 young people begin their vocational training at profine in Germany. The system provider currently employs a total of 158 apprentices in 15 different professions, 122 trainees in Pirmasens and 36 in Berlin.
“The training and advancement of our junior employees are among the central pillars of our sustainability strategy. That is why we are constantly working to offer our young colleagues an ideal environment for their professional development“, said Dr. Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine, at the opening of the new workshop.
Another profine investment in training this summer was the installation of a new pneumatics workshop in its training center at the Pirmasens site. This enables the system provider to continue carrying out state-of-the-art pneumatic and electro-pneumatic courses that are relevant for various professional groups.
Dr. Peter Mrosik: “With the new facilities and premises, we are in an exemplary position and we will continue to invest sustainably in the infrastructure of our training. A big thank you to everyone who actively helped with these projects."
