Sustainability is a promise to the future. With the Kömmerling Tomorrow Award 2026, we honor our international Kömmerling window system customers who are leading the way with ideas, measures, and real impact—whether through innovative products, efficient processes, or social engagement. Completed projects from the last two years as well as ongoing or permanent measures can be submitted.
The award recognizes window manufacturers who are already taking responsibility today and using sustainability as an opportunity for progress and differentiation. At the same time, we want to highlight sustainable commitment, create a strong joint communication platform, and position Kömmerling as a reliable sustainability partner and driver of innovation. Together, we are setting an example for sustainability in the window industry.

Application categories
Category A: Products & Processes
As a window manufacturer, how do you make windows and doors more sustainable?
We are looking for solutions that make a difference in terms of material use, manufacturing, energy efficiency, or supply chain—and show how sustainability is integrated into everyday work.
Category B: Social commitment
As a window manufacturer, how do you take responsibility beyond your company?
Whether environmental and social projects, regional initiatives, training, partnerships, or employee programs: we reward commitment that has an impact—both locally and further afield.
After the application deadline, an jury will select the 6 finalists—three per category.
Final at Fensterbau Frontale 2026
The selected finalists will present their projects live at Fensterbau Frontale 2026—in front of an audience and a jury. The winners in both categories will then be announced.

Awards & prize money
- 2 winners
One winning project will be selected in each category. Each winner will receive €10,000, which will be donated to a sustainable project or institution on behalf of the window manufacturer. Participants must specify their preferred recipient at the end of their application. - 4 Recognition awards for finalists
The remaining four finalists will each receive a recognition award of €1,000, also to be donated to a sustainable or social project.
Terms and conditions of participation
Participants:
All profine Group customers worldwide who sell Kömmerling brand window systems are eligible to apply. The competition languages are German and English.
Participation:
Applications must be submitted using the online form, optionally supplemented by images, documents, or videos. Submission is free of charge and only possible during the participation period (deadline: February 15, 2026).
Applications can be submitted in two categories:
Category A for sustainable products and processes, and Category B for social engagement. You will find a detailed description of the content in the respective questionnaire.
Submitting multiple projects:
Each company may submit multiple projects in both categories. Eligible projects include completed projects (max. 2 years old), ongoing measures, or long-term projects that have been implemented by the participating company itself.
How to participate

After the application deadline, the jury will select six finalists—three in each category.
