The Kömmerling 76 ClimaTec 76 centre seal enables controlled air exchange whilst the window is closed. The self-regulating ventilation system is concealed within the window frame and requires no electricity. It therefore supports continuous air exchange even when the windows are not actively being used for ventilation.
The ventilation mechanism reacts automatically to varying pressure conditions and regulates the airflow accordingly. As a result, ClimaTec 76 can help to reduce high indoor humidity and maintain a balanced indoor climate.
As the ventilation system is integrated into the frame, the appearance of the window remains largely unaffected. A ventilation grille provides additional protection against insects entering the room. Depending on the version and window design, different air flow rates are available.
ClimaTec 76 has also been tested for sound insulation and weather protection. Depending on the version, sound insulation values of up to 43 dB and resistance to driving rain up to Class 6A are achieved. Variants with one or two ventilators are available to meet different requirements.
