Kömmerling ClimaTec Plus is a self-regulating window rebate ventilator designed to provide controlled air exchange whilst the window is closed. The compact ventilation unit is integrated into the upper section of the window sash, meaning it remains largely out of sight. No electrical supply is required for it to function.
Air flows through the window rebate between the sash and the frame. Thanks to the flow-controlled technology of the regulating flaps, the air flow is automatically regulated depending on the pressure conditions. At higher wind pressures, the air flow is restricted, which helps to reduce draughts.
ClimaTec Plus can help to reduce elevated indoor humidity and thus supports continuous air exchange even when the windows are not being actively used for ventilation.
The system can be used in both new windows and for retrofitting. Different versions with one, two or three vents allow the system to be adapted to the required air flow rate. Depending on the window and glazing configuration, sound insulation values of up to 45 dB are possible.
