Kömmerling 76 centre Seal combines high thermal insulation with modern design and versatile applications. The centre seal system, with a depth of 76 mm, achieves a Uf value of up to 1.0 W/(m²K) even in its standard version, thus providing a high-performance basis for energy-efficient window solutions.
The centre seal forms an additional sealing layer within the profile and contributes to the system’s high thermal and acoustic insulation. Depending on the sash variant, different glazing thicknesses can be accommodated. With the standard offset sash, glazing and infills ranging from 4 to 56 mm are possible, whilst the semi-offset sash accommodates thicknesses from 26 to 60 mm. The system thus offers considerable scope for modern multiple glazing and specialised functional glazing.
Kömmerling 76 centre seal also provides a high-performance basis for sound insulation, weather protection and burglary resistance. Depending on the version, sound insulation values of up to 47 dB, resistance to driving rain up to Class 9A, air permeability up to Class 4 and burglary resistance up to RC 2 are possible.
A range of sash designs and numerous finishes are available for customisation. In addition to classic white and films with a wood, plain or metallic finish, proCoverTec, AcrylColor and various aluminium cladding panels are also available, depending on the version.
The system also offers a forward-looking option in terms of materials: On request, the profiles are available made from CO₂-optimised virgin material containing bio-attributed PVC-U. The associated supply chain – from the extraction of tall oil to the finished PVC-U profile – is RSB-certified.
