The Kömmerling 76 AluClip residential door combines the functional properties of a PVC-U residential door system with the high-quality appearance of an aluminium cladding. The aluminium surface on the outside offers a wide range of colour and design options, for example through anodising or powder coating. On the inside, PVC-U profiles ensure an easy-to-maintain and functional surface.
The inwards-opening residential door system has a frame depth of 76 mm and a robust 5-chamber construction. With a Uf value of up to 1.2 W/(m²K) for the frame-and-sash combination and a thermally broken threshold, the system provides good conditions for effective thermal insulation. The double seal in the threshold area and a precisely fitting threshold connector ensure a tight seal between the frame and the threshold.
Generously dimensioned steel reinforcements and welded corner connectors ensure the structural stability of the door construction. To meet a variety of design requirements, triple glazing, special functional and decorative glass, as well as front door panels up to 50 mm thick, can be used. Single- and multi-sash front doors with transom windows or side panels can also be fitted. In combination with appropriate security fittings, burglary resistance up to resistance class RC 2 is possible.
