The Kömmerling 76 AluClip residential door combines the functional properties of a PVC-U residential door system with the high-quality appearance of an aluminium cladding. The exterior offers a wide range of colour and finish options, such as anodised or powder-coated finishes. On the inside, PVC-U profiles ensure an easy-to-maintain and functional surface.
Designed specifically for out-opening residential doors, the system has a frame depth of 76 mm and a robust 5-chamber construction. Generously dimensioned steel reinforcements and welded corner connectors enhance structural stability. With a Uf value of 1.2 W/(m²K) and a thermally broken threshold, the system’s design provides excellent conditions for effective thermal insulation. The double seal in the threshold area further contributes to a high level of airtightness.
For customised design, special functional and decorative glazing, as well as residential door panels up to 50 mm thick, can be used. Side panels, transom windows and various door designs also allow for flexible adaptation to the specific installation situation. In combination with appropriate security fittings, burglary resistance up to resistance class RC 2 is possible.
