Kömmerling 88 centre seal AluClip Plus combines the high thermal and acoustic insulation of a PVC-U window with a modern aluminium look. The external aluminium cladding offers a wide choice of colours and finishes, whilst the functional benefits of the PVC-U profile are retained on the inside.
The system is based on a 6-chamber design and achieves a Uf value of 0.93–0.98 W/(m²K). For the reference configuration specified in the product data sheet, a Uw value of 0.72 W/(m²K) is achieved. Kömmerling 88 centre seal AluClip Plus thus provides a high-performance basis for energy-efficient window solutions.
Glazing depths of up to 52 mm allow for the use of modern triple glazing and specialised functional glazing. In combination with appropriate fittings, burglary resistance up to RC 2 is possible.
A key feature is the modern, linear design with an aluminium window finish. Different cladding face widths allow for flexible adaptation to the specific building situation. The aluminium cladding offers great design freedom in terms of colours and finishes.
The prefabricated frame construction with 45° mitre joints enables precise and tension-free installation. The PVC-U and aluminium are structurally decoupled from one another. At the same time, the performance characteristics of the PVC-U window are retained, as the fitted cladding does not interfere with the actual window system.
