The Kömmerling 88 centre Seal AddOn enhances the window system with additional functions based on the composite sash principle. An additional sash creates a protected cavity and enables the integration of privacy and sun protection directly into the window structure.
The optional privacy and sun protection is housed between the panes, where it is protected from the elements. This shields it from external weather conditions and dirt, whilst at the same time allowing light levels and privacy to be adjusted as required. Depending on the version, the integrated sun protection can be operated manually or electrically.
The additional sash and the extra pane of glass improve the window’s thermal and acoustic insulation properties. The system also offers a wide range of glazing options, allowing for glazing thicknesses of up to 58 mm, which makes triple glazing, functional glazing and larger window areas possible.
AddOn can be used both with PVC-U windows without an aluminium cladding and in combination with aluminium cladding. As a result, the system combines functional integration with a wide range of options for colour and finish design.
