Kömmerling 88 centre Seal is a 7-chamber window system with a frame depth of 88 mm. The system combines high thermal insulation with slim profile profiles and provides a stable performance basis for energy-efficient window solutions. Depending on the version, Uf values ranging from 0.93 to 0.98 W/(m²K) are achieved.
The centre seal provides an additional sealing layer within the profile and enhances the system’s thermal, acoustic and weather resistance. The robust construction allows for glazing up to 60 mm thick, thus providing scope for modern triple glazing and specialised functional glazing.
Kömmerling 88 centre seal also provides a good performance basis for sound insulation, weather resistance and burglary protection. Depending on the version, sound insulation values of up to 48 dB, wind load resistance up to Class C5/B5, resistance to driving rain up to Class 9A, air permeability up to Class 4 and burglary resistance up to RC 2 are possible.
A range of sash variants and finishes are available for design purposes. In addition to classic white, films in wood grain, solid and metallic colours are available. Depending on the version, the system can also be combined with aluminium cladding, AddOn, and the surface solutions proCoverTec and ReFrame/FullCover.
