The Kömmerling 88 AluClip Plus residential door combines the good thermal insulation properties of a PVC-U residential door system with the high-quality, durable appearance of an aluminium cladding. With a frame depth of 88 mm, the system provides a robust foundation for energy-efficient residential door solutions. The thermally broken, accessible residential door threshold with double sealing ensures a high level of airtightness and provides protection against heat loss and the elements.

The 6-chamber construction, featuring generously sized steel reinforcements and welded corner connectors, ensures high stability. The system allows for the use of modern triple glazing, specialised functional glass or residential door panels up to 60 mm thick.

On the outside, the aluminium cladding provides a modern look and a wide range of design options. Finishing techniques such as anodising or powder coating offer a wide choice of colours and finishes. On the inside, the PVC-U profiles combine low maintenance with high functionality.

The Kömmerling 88 AluClip Plus residential door allows for both inwards- and outwards-opening door solutions. Maximum sash sizes of 1000 × 2200 mm for single-sash doors or 900 × 2200 mm for floating mullion doors are possible. With the appropriate design and fittings, burglary resistance up to resistance class RC 2 can be achieved.
