The Kömmerling 88 inward-opening residential door offers a high-performance and highly customisable solution for modern entrance areas. The inward-opening design can be fitted as a single- or multi-sash residential door, and can also be combined with transom windows or side panels.
With a frame depth of 88 mm and a 6-chamber construction, the system provides an good basis for high thermal insulation and stability. Generously dimensioned steel reinforcements form a sturdy frame. The sash corners are further reinforced by welded corner connectors, which are rigidly connected to the steel reinforcement and help to absorb bending and torsional forces.
The thermally broken residential door threshold with double sealing ensures a high level of airtightness as well as protection against rain and wind. Different threshold variants are available depending on requirements. The deep glazing rebate allows for the use of modern triple glazing, special functional glazing or standard residential door panels up to 58 mm thick. With the appropriate design and fittings, burglary resistance up to resistance class RC 2 is possible.
For customisation, classic white is available, as well as numerous film finishes in wood textures, plain colours and metallic shades. In addition, various types of functional and decorative glass, residential door panels and other fittings can be incorporated. Curved designs are also generally feasible due to the thermoplastic material’s malleability.
