There are a large number of cases in which the traditional ventilation methods are not sufficient, e.g. when you are not at home. This also applies to weekend homes and holiday homes. Fresh air can be ensured here with the Kömmerling ventilation system ClimaTec Plus – even without active ventilation. The Kömmerling ventilation system is the perfect solution for always having a healthy indoor climate even when the windows are closed.

There is therefore a need to achieve a healthy balance between sensible ventilation behaviour and minimum heat loss. Firstly, sustainability in energy consumption is thus ensured, and secondly, the building fabric is not assailed as part of building protection. With ClimaTec Plus, Kömmerling offers you a ventilation solution that ensures a regulated supply of fresh air – and does so in a fully automated way, even without active ventilation.

ClimaTec Plus is the new generation of self-regulating window rebate ventilators. Installation occurs in the upper area of the window sash instead of the sash leg seal – in a colour matching the colour of the window seals in light grey or black. It therefore remains almost invisible even when a window is open.  Air flows via the window rebate, the space between window sash and outer frame. Thanks to the innovative flow control technology of the regulating flaps, there is sensitive airflow regulation that limits the flow of air in the event of high wind loads and consequently avoids draughts.
