profine Expands Pirmasens Site
profine Group is significantly expanding its production facilities in Pirmasens, Germany. The international manufacturer of plastic profiles for windows and doors has recently purchased a 70,000 square meter site from the city administration. The area is located on the opposite side of the federal road B 10, in the immediate vicinity of the profine factory premises with 240,000 square meters of space.
At the latest from summer 2018, profine plans to develop the production site. The background is the further expansion of the company, which with its currently 1,200 jobs offered at the location is one of the largest employers of the West Palatinate city. According to the owner and CEO Dr. Peter Mrosik, profine wants to invest a two-digit million amount by 2022.
