Base Grey From Kommerling
Kömmerling have just launched a new base grey substrate for their C70 and flush casement window systems in response to market demand.
With a proSmooth anthracite grey laminate inside and out, the new profiles provide a distinctive architectural feel, yet with the impressive energy efficiency and sound reduction properties of PVCu. All Kömmerling 70mm window systems achieve a U-value of 1.2 W/(m2K) with a standard double-glazed unit and without the need for thermal inserts.
This new addition to the foil laminate range will also see Kömmerling launch a new colour programme soon, featuring the new brand identity that was launched during the summer of 2022. There’s also the promise of an extended range of re-branded literature in Q1, 2023 the company explains.
Kevin Warner, sales and marketing director of profine UK and Kömmerling commented: ‘We’ve added the base grey option following a testing programme in Germany in terms of material specification and are now offering this with a proSmooth anthracite grey finish from stock. It’s also part of a larger project to look at new laminate finishes to ensure that our customers are on-trend with the latest consumer influences.’
He continued: ‘Importantly we’ve added it to our exceptional flash sash window, which exudes typical Kömmerling attention to detail and design and includes the new concealed mullion option for cottage and French windows. Our thirst for product innovation and clever product design continues.’
