Your window to a better world
What we do.
In a world facing major challenges we are assuming responsibility and contributing to solutions with the foundation “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung”. We are involved in many charitable causes and support a wide variety of projects. We hope we can motivate you to join us in our mission to make the world a better place. Check out the good ideas here to see how, even with a small gesture, you can make a big difference.
Making a difference together.
According to the motto of ‘Your window to a better world’ and with the #Kömmerlingbetterworld hashtag our creative projects are raising money for ill children, cancer research and children’s homes. The foundation “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung” project portfolio also includes the promotion of children’s language skills with the Nele Neuhaus Foundation and the Mainz 05 football Bundesliga club, or the donation of modern windows to children’s and educational institutions.
The foundation.
The foundation “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung” gGmbH is a charitable organisation that was established on 1st January 2020 at the initiative of Dr. Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of the profine Group. The foundation operates exclusively on a non-profit basis and supports projects and causes in many different areas.
According to the articles of association, these are:
- Promotion of science and research
- Promotion of the welfare of young and elderly people
- Promotion of parenting, public and vocational education and student support
- Promotion of nature and landscape conservation in compliance with the German Federal Act for the Protection of Nature and the federal states’ nature conservation laws, environmental protection, coastline protection and flood protection
- Promotion of the welfare system, particularly through provision of support to officially recognised non-statutory welfare organisations, their sub-associations and their affiliated establishments and institutions
- Promotion of fire protection, occupational safety, disaster and civil protection, and accident prevention
- Promotion of sports
- Promotion of civic activities for charitable, benevolent or religious purposes
The foundation “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung” enables the profine Group to fulfil its corporate social responsibilities on a broad basis by supporting diverse charitable projects, helping people and contributing to making the world a better place.
Encouraging involvement.
Dr. Peter Mrosik: “In a world facing major challenges we are assuming responsibility and contributing to solutions. This is something we have been doing for many years, not just in the wake of the public debate on climate protection. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be where we are today. In addition to addressing important ecological issues, we intend to proactively engage in providing answers to economic and social issues. The establishment of our “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung” was the logical step to take and it sends out a positive signal pointing the way ahead into the future. We and our subsidiaries around the world are involved in many social projects. In most cases these projects are less about large donations and more about ‘small gestures with a big impact’. They are both initiated and implemented by our employees.”
The establishment of the “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung” helps us to extend and support these CSR activities. The foundation will be collaborating with employees, partners, window manufacturers and other interested individuals to deliver practical support in selected projects with clear objectives.
Your window to a better world.
The foundation “Kömmerling Better World Stiftung” brings the ‘Your window to a better world’ slogan to life. According to this motto and with the #Kömmerlingbetterworld hashtag the foundation will address a wide audience and motivate as many people as possible to help make the world a better place.
Dr. Peter Mrosik: “We are asking all window manufacturers and our partners to support the sustainability projects we are involved in because, together, we can make an important contribution to creating a future that is worth living in.”
